Day 23 - Lunar Case Competition

Reconnecting with Colleagues
Today we had the final case competition, held in collaboration with Lunar at their office. Fortunately, I knew one of their employees, providing the perfect opportunity to catch up and gain some insider insights into the company before the official kickoff. One of the perks of my years as a consultant is having connections in many prominent Danish companies.
Banking on What Matters
The competition's focus was narrow: Lunar tasked us with exploring green loans for customers. Essentially, how to support customers' green loans beyond just monetary savings. Quite the challenge!
We quickly decided to center our approach on storytelling. Lunar is a modern bank, a challenger demonstrating that banking can be done differently. Their digital tools, particularly personalized goals, stood out. We proposed combining this feature with saving up for green products like electric cars. Coupled with green investments and a green Lunar loan, it formed a robust product we were eager to pitch.
Pitch Perfect
It's astounding what a well-coordinated team can accomplish in four hours. We delivered a compelling pitch, culminating in standing ovations from the judges. They even began discussing potential ways to integrate our solution into their app!
Runner-up Isn't the End
Alas, you cannot always win. We got runner up. What a great day, what a great team. Cheers to that!
