Day 24 - Focus Wednesday

Cultivating Health and Creativity
Yesterday, I took the initiative to join the local gym. Despite resuming my running routine this week after a two-week break, the freezing temperatures made outdoor running unbearable. Given that SATS Gym is conveniently located just across the street, opting for an indoor workout seemed like a smart alternative. Here's proof of my survival on my first day at the gym:
Brainstorming Brilliance
Aside from a morning session about our upcoming pre-investment committee pitch, our day was dedicated to refining our ideas. We started off with an enlightening call with a key account manager from a major consultancy shed light on their daily operations and challenges followed up with an ideation session.
By day's end, we managed to narrow down our initial ideas to two:
- A platform for consultancies to assist their agents in finding the best talent for their clients.
- A platform for patients to seek assistance abroad when all available national resources are unavailable.
Tomorrow, we have a meeting with our advisor to pitch these two ideas and gather feedback on their potential as venture-backed startups. We spent the remainder of the day refining our pitches, addressing uncertainties, and creating an overview of each idea's strengths and weaknesses.
Cozy Community Vibes
Wednesday evenings are reserved for our community dinner. This week's gathering was more intimate than planned, with only two others joining due to illness or other commitments. The smaller group gave us the chance to engage in deeper discussion which was a welcome change to the usual format. I hope everyone feels better soon, especially with the international meetup day approaching tomorrow. We've all been eagerly anticipating meeting participants from other countries.
