Some say starting a business is like running a marathon. Others say it is like running a marathon every single day. While I'm not quite at that level yet, I did manage to complete my first 10k run since pre-corona times. It's incredibly motivating to see how quickly one can progress with a solid foundation to build upon. These morning sessions truly energize me for the day ahead. Let's keep the momentum going!

Product Development Workshop

The day started with a product development workshop. As a team, we engaged in various exercises aimed at refining our product. Initially, we delved into the users' needs and identified the features required to address them. This was followed by several rounds of feature prioritization, where we focused on cutting down the scope to the bare essentials while ensuring maximum value for the users. Subsequently, we used these remaining features in creative problem-solving exercises, challenging their necessity and exploring alternative solutions. Finally, we consolidated our findings into three distinct product approaches, weighing their merits against each other to determine the optimal one. Overall, it was an invaluable exercise in critically analyzing our product.

Townhall

Another week has flown by! It's astonishing how quickly time passes. During the townhall, we reviewed the sessions of the past week and discussed the upcoming ones. It's becoming increasingly evident that the official program is gradually tapering off to provide us with more time to focus on our own companies. While this shift is welcome, it also underscores the increased expectations towards our progress. The next pre-IC round is looming, and there's a considerable amount of work to be done before then. Nonetheless, with this week's sessions concluded, it's time to transition to the Friday bar.

Friday Drinks: Women in Startups

This week's Friday bar session centered around women in startups. It was inspiring to hear the stories of resilience and success from female leaders in the industry. I wonder if we'll encounter similar challenges with our female CEO. I hope we will be judged by our actions, not gender. Personally, I'm determined to make every action count, like this weekend which I have dedicated to building a prototype. But more on that in the next post. For now, let's get a drink!
