Day 34 - eBay API

Hello eBay

Today, I had planned to take it slow, enjoying the weekend and the pleasant weather. According to the local forecast, it was the warmest day of the year so far, reaching up to 12 degrees Celsius. Sadly, it's expected to cool down again quickly, with temperatures barely above freezing point next week.

I spent my afternoon, evening, and night fighting the eBay API. It turned out to be a more complex task than I had anticipated. Accessing even the most basic features, such as issuing a search query, requires verification as a developer account on their platform. Additionally, setting up a server capable of handling data deletion requests and OAuth verification was necessary. With limited documentation available, this proved to be quite challenging and took several hours to figure out. However, a few hours past midnight, I finally managed to issue an eBay search directly from my website - awesome! Now, it's time to hit the hay.
