Day 41 - Networking at a Lan

LAN

Today was the big LAN day at The Blue Office. I know the owner well and was fortunate enough to receive an invitation. This wasn't your ordinary LAN party; it was a gathering for entrepreneurs. Networking while playing Counter-Strike? It sounds unconventional, but why not? It's a unique opportunity to observe how people handle stressful situations in games like that.

Sharing and Learning

I can't recall the last time I had to present my company so many times in a single day. However, it turned out to be perfect for ironing out flaws and strengthening my pitching skills. Since my company is still more of a concept than a fully-fledged entity, I received a wealth of feedback. One suggestion that caught my attention was about hiring interns to assist with some of the more manual tasks. Several participants shared positive experiences with bringing on extra hands during the early phases of their ventures. Initially, I had reservations about what our company could offer interns, but I've come to see the appeal of the potential impact of their work. It's an opportunity worth exploring further.
