Day 51 - Back for Pitching

Returning to Copenhagen

Today I returned to Copenhagen after a relaxing break spent in Flensburg with family and friends. It was a refreshing change to spend time with people outside my Antler cohort, although I found myself explaining Venato repeatedly. However, this practice might prove beneficial for the upcoming pitch session, so I don't mind. Despite the enjoyable break, it's good to be back, ready to dive into work!

Metrics Workshop

Following lunch, we participated in a workshop on metrics, focusing on what Antler looks for when considering investments. The session provided insights into investor expectations regarding KPIs, roadmaps, runway calculations, and cap tables. While much of the information wasn't entirely new, the workshop presented it in a digestible format, helping us understand our fit in the larger picture and how to effectively convey our message through slides. Looks like we have more work cut out for us.

Test Pitch

We wrapped up the day with a final test pitch ahead of pre-IC II tomorrow. This time, we were better prepared and managed to stay within our allotted time. As a result, we were able to cover all our slides comprehensively, offering a holistic overview of the startup we're building. It also provided a chance for us to align our priorities for the immediate future. With pre-IC II looming tomorrow, it's probably wise to get some rest, especially since I've been up since 2 AM this morning. Let's hope we rock the pitch tomorrow!
