Day 60 - Focus Thursday

Expanding the Prototype
Today was all about putting the finishing touches on the prototype before recording the website for tomorrow's test pitch. Despite some major sections still being incomplete, I managed to wrap everything up just in time. A significant update was the reworking of the dashboard to provide users with an overview of all their items. Additionally, I fixed the item creation flow, enabling users to create new items with prices directly derived from eBay. To maintain flexibility, there's now an extra step where users select which items to base their pricing on, allowing us to bypass the need for a perfect matching algorithm at this stage.
Growing the Team
We also met with another potential intern today, who could potentially provide insights into price structures. We discussed topics such as how items depreciate in value over time, differences between product categories, variations in prices across platforms and geographic locations, and the disparity between selling prices and listing prices. With so many questions, I'm hopeful that we've found someone who can help us shed some light on these areas.
