Day 73 - Meetings

Tax Insights

Today kicked off with a masterclass on taxation law, hosted by Copenhagen Fintech in collaboration with KPMG. The session perfectly matched our needs, covering topics such as Taxation on Exit, Holding Companies, Ownership Agreements, Stock Options & LL7p, Capitalization and Reporting, VAT Essentials, Bookkeeping Compliance, and Tax Credits and Incentives - all condensed into a 1.5-hour presentation. However, the presentation fell a bit short, mainly taking the form of a Q&A session, which was beneficial for addressing specific questions but less so for providing a comprehensive overview.

Coaching Session

Our final coaching session before the IC took place today. We reviewed the progress made since our last meeting and discussed the potential addition of a CMO before the IC. Antler emphasized the importance of marketing expertise, but we were concerned about the feasibility of securing the right candidate within such a short timeframe. We agreed on providing a clear plan for filling the position after IC. Additionally, we discussed our financial metrics, since it has been challenging for us of to find reference points. It was great to get feedback from the coaches and refine our numbers accordingly.

Slide Refinement

The remainder of the day was used for fine-tuning the presentation slides. One crucial aspect still missing from my section is a comprehensive overview of the marketplaces and our strategies for engaging with them. Tomorrow, I plan to focus on finalizing this slide. I also need to complete the section showing our current prototype as well, ensuring everything is set for tomorrow's IC test session. The work never ends, but progress is being made.
