Day 74 - Getting Ready for IC

Insights from an Expert

I began the day with a feedback session led by Aja, a marketplace expert with hands-on experience in building and scaling platforms in Denmark. Her insights into our integrations and unit economics were perfect for refining our approach, both for the upcoming presentation and for our long-term scalability. More work to do.

Slides Refinement

The majority of my day was dedicated to updating the slides. Ricardo provided updated videos, which needed to be integrated into the presentation. Additionally, I focused on enhancing the integration slides based on the feedback received from Antler. They emphasized the importance of providing detailed insights into our integration strategy. I aimed to demonstrate two key points: firstly, the accessibility of the market due to its availability through APIs or 3rd party software, and secondly, the assurance that expanding to other marketplaces wouldn't introduce additional risk, as our existing integrations showcase a general approach that is applicable for further expansion.

Off-boarding Discussion

Later in the day, I had an off-boarding chat with Clara. The conversation steered by uncertainty, as the possibility of not being part of Antler's portfolio after the upcoming pitch is lingering upon me. It was a reminder that our journey with Antler could either continue as a long partnership or come to an abrupt end. Evaluating the cohort experience without knowing its outcome is challenging. Overall it has been a good experience, however if we do not get the investment I would be asking why this was not raised before. Right now I think it was great, but without the money at the end it would feel like we did not get the needed advice.
