Day 81 - Getting Ready

Final Preparations
Today is the last day before the final pitch. As we reviewed our presentation, there were some slides that still need polishing, particularly the videos in my section. Fortunately, pitch.app agreed to provide us with a free demo of their premium features, allowing us to integrate videos directly into the presentation. This eliminates the need to rely on YouTube embeds, which can't start automatically. I also put the finishing touches on the API overview, streamlining the structure and focusing more on my voice-over narration. Kendal provided great input, helping strike the right balance between technical depth and a high-level overview. By day's end, my section was ready for tomorrow's presentation before the investment committee.
User Engagement
While much of our focus today was on finalizing the presentation, our company's momentum continues. We conducted two interviews with potential users - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both interviews where positive, with individuals expressing interest in our platform and a willingness to pay for it. Both interviewees were sneaker enthusiasts, so called "sneakerheads." Despite being a niche community, their enthusiasm for our platform was something we could build upon. They expressed eagerness to recommend our platform to fellow enthusiasts, indicating a promising starting point for user acquisition. Their enthusiasm was a great motivator for the pitch tomorrow.
The Big Day
Tomorrow will be a pivotal day. Our pitch will determine whether we secure funding, if our efforts are deemed worthy by the investment committee. The competition is fierce, but we need to secure the funding to be able to realize our vision. Leaving nothing to chance, I even borrowed an iron to ensure a sharp appearance in my favorite shirt. Now, it's time to rest and recharge for tomorrow.
