Day 82 - Investment Committee

The Moment of Truth
Today is the day we've been waiting for - the culmination of 12 weeks of hard work. At 15:30, we'll stand before the Antler Investment Committee, where they'll determine whether we are worthy of their investment. The stakes couldn't be higher.
Being the last to pitch meant a long waiting time, so we tried to utilize it wisely. We reviewed our slides, improving areas like unit economics, environmental impact, and team presentation. We aimed to make our success appear inevitable, enticing investors to support our venture.
With the slides perfected, we entered practice mode, going over the presentation several times. We have rehearsed and refining every aspect of it by now. I've never felt more prepared for a pitch in my life.
Prior to the pitch, I compiled a list of approximately 30 questions covering tech, team, business, and validation, ensuring we were ready for any possible question. With Riccardo moderating, we navigated through them, tackling even the toughest queries - a testament to our readiness.
The Presentation
Phew! It's done. We delivered our pitch, answered all questions, and exited the room for the committee's deliberation. Now, it's in Antler's hands to determine if we've convinced them of our worthiness for the €150k investment. While there were moments where we could have been sharper, overall, it went smoothly. Now, it's time to celebrate and await the verdict.
After the Pitch
Following our presentation, the after-party started, marking the official end of our cohort. Some of us will be welcomed into Antler's portfolio, while others won't. This gathering is the last time we'll all be together. Antler organized games and snacks, fostering a celebratory atmosphere.
To our delight, Kendal and I both received awards! I was honored as the "Most Hardworking" entrepreneur of the cohort - an acknowledgment I hope influences their decision regarding our funding. Kendal earned the title of "Best Hustler." Another proof, that it might be wise to fund us.
What a crazy ride this has been. I hope this was just the beginning of something even greater!
